Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American author, singer and performer well-known for her character Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her acting career on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In the 1950s, she acted as a stage performer in a few Broadway plays before breaking through into the spotlight with her hit song 'Lil' Abner' in 1957. The same year, she released her first musical album, The album is Tina Time. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. The film was a massive success and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career with ease between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing somber characters against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 27th August, 1965. Her family moved to Toronto when she was three. Her childhood was spent there and her adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997 and was there ever since.
