David Muir is a journalist and anchor in the US. Most famous for his work is World News Tonight. Seen by millions of Americans David Muir's show has become famous for its celebrity gossip video and animated gestures. Made In America has also been nominated for an Emmy award. His predecessor, Diane Sawyer's primary replacement anchor until he was appointed anchor at ABC World News Tonight. In recent years he's covered a variety of ABC News primetime specials including Breaking Point Heroin in America. He has travelled around the globe to report on the latest news coming from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as honors from the Associated Press.
