Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She is a proponent of animal rights. The actress is famous for movies such as Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). The Getaway was released in 1972. New York, she was born and raised into an creative family. She started as a photographic assistant, before progressing to modeling and acting. MacGraw was awarded her Golden Globe Award, for the most promising debutant. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was one of the biggest hits that gained fame to the world in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. In just three films, MacGraw was named the top female box-office debut worldwide. At Grauman's Chinese Theater, in 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography was published. MacGraw was divorced three times.
