Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American singer and actress is very famous. In her early years Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. In her 9th grade when she began to gain confidence following her acclaim at an audition. This not only increased confidence in herself, but it also changed her career ambition. When she was 22, she graduated the Julliard School of New York. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail were both major break. The character of The lad from The Lake is her most memorable break, earning her the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her performance. The following year she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. Known as a singer she has also released a single as well as an extended show. She is an activist who strives for LGBT equality.
